The float valve is designed to regulate the flow of water into the tank or sump, ensuring that the water level remains constant and preventing overflow.Kent Float Valve - Horizontal is designed to be installed horizontally on the side of the tank or sump. It features a floating ball connected to a lever arm, which in turn is connected to a valve mechanism. When the water level in the tank drops, the floating ball also drops, causing the lever arm to move and open the valve. Water then flows into the tank until the water level rises and the floating ball lifts the lever arm, closing the valve.
